What is a feed?
A feed (also called RSS, Syndication or XML) is a way for you to check multiple websites for newly published content without physically browsing to each website. Unlike email newsletters, you do not have to provide your email address. Instead, you use a program called a Feed Reader (or News Aggregator).
A variety of feed readers are available for different platforms (Windows, Mac, etc). Some are web-based, so you can check it at work or at home. Others integrate with popular email applications, such as Outlook. Follow this link for a list of available feed readers.
